Swung by here with my family on the way to Orlando. Right off the bat I noticed it was full of Spanish-speaking locals so I knew it was going to be good and authentic. The place delivered! A huge variety of options, savory plates and generous portions. My family of four ate their fill (plus had leftovers to take away) and we sample four different Latin canned drinks (the Yerbe Mate was my favorite, the Kola Champagne was my little one’s favorite) and the total bill was only 36! I highly recommend you try this place out in your road trip instead of settling for generic franchises or fast food.

GOOD VALUE & great tasting! First time here! Service was pretty quick. Small size of pork, yellow rice & potatoes was plenty and overall good value. Accept Apple Pay which is great! Still have to touch the screen to select tip or no tip! I would eat here again!

Good food, great service, great selection and good prices. During my first visit, I went with the classic Cuban sandwhich. I'm not going to say it was the best in the bay, but it's definitely worth trying in my opinion. They have ethnic drinks and home-made desserts ready in the fridge as well! The food can be made to order, but they also provide a sub-way style ordering of their buffet. The place is typically busy.

SERENDIPITY Serendipity is defined as good luck in making unexpected and fortunate discoveries. This was certainly the case as I took my car to have the windshield replaced when a cracked windshield needed replacing. “There will be a two hour wait.” said the technician.” A friend who had accompanied me and I set out to find a coffee shop to grab coffee and a snack as it was noon. We spotted what appeared to be a restaurant within walking distance. The sign outside “Tropical Cuisine” did not prepare us for what awaited inside. The restaurant is located at 9005 E Adamo Dr, Tampa, Florida As we entered and the door closed behind us we were amazed at the size of the restaurant and we found ourselves on a food line that stretched the full length of the restaurant. As we sat sipping a coffee and enjoying a doughnut Federal Express, postal workers, police, contractors, business workers and families with children provided a steady flow of customers to the unending line. We both decided to jump on the food line. The trip through the line presented two problems. With so many culinary choices we were selecting more than we could eat. When we got to the table we both realized we had more food than was possible to consume. The quality and taste of the food explained the unending arrival of customers. My friend begins to load his Takeout Box which will provide two additional meals. We will be returning in the near future. What a great find.

Super clean and bright. Loved the selection of foods. Everything looked amazing. I opted for the Cuban sandwich. The roasted pork was very, very tender. They pull it right on the spot. Fresh ingredients. I'd eat it again.

Came to this place for the first time, I was very please with the quantity of food I received. Good spot to get food to go if you have company due to limited space. I would go back. They even gave military discount
